Myy Lohi
actor for stage, film and voice overs
I am Myy Lohi, a Finnish actor, voice actor and stage artist. I am currently stationed in Varkaus, Finland, and employed by the Theatre of Varkaus.
I began my acting studies in the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts (Helsinki, Finland) in 2014 and graduated as a Master of Arts in 2019. As part of my Master's studies, I completed advanced special studies in musical theatre. My vocal range is that of a mezzo soprano/belter. When it comes to the stage, I love musical theatre as well as classic spoken drama. I bear a special interest in exploring speech, wording and voice expression. Hence, I frequently lend my voice to Finnish dubs of animated movies and series. I enjoy learning new skills and I've tried out several sports, including floor and aerial hoop acrobatics, pole dancing, swordsplay and diving. On my free time I enjoy knitting, baking, watching old movies and taking long walks. I speak native Finnish, excellent English, good French, Japanese and Swedish. I've also briefly studied German and Russian. When it comes to foreign languages, phonetics is a strength of mine. |
